The Challenge

Transporte el Quince managed its operation through manual, scattered processes. Task assignments, vehicle control, and delivery note handling lacked a centralized system, leading to frequent errors, lost information, and poor traceability.


The company needed a solution that could digitize day-to-day operations without depending on external tools, while providing an organized, transparent workflow adapted to the reality of drivers and administrators.

The Solution

We developed a modern, easy-to-use web application designed to support the daily rhythm of cargo transportation.


Drivers can upload delivery notes with photos, describe their tasks, log mileage, and complete custom checklists based on the vehicle being used. At the same time, administrators can schedule tasks in advance, monitor activity in real time, generate Excel reports by driver or by vehicle, and define control items for each unit.


The platform also includes automatic email notifications and a role-based permissions system. Everything was designed to fit real field work without unnecessary friction.

The Result

The company fully digitized the planning and monitoring of its logistics operations, improving efficiency and significantly reducing human error.


Today, administrators have instant visibility into the status of each trip, drivers can log their workday from their phones, and reports are generated automatically without relying on spreadsheets or manual checks.

Technologies

Quasar and Vue.js were used to build a fast, responsive application optimized for field usage on mobile devices. Pinia made state management clear and scalable, supporting more dynamic workflows.

The backend was developed with NestJS and PostgreSQL, a modern and robust stack that provides performance, security, and a scalable architecture. NestJS offered a clean modular structure to organize the platform's main functional areas.

The infrastructure was deployed on Railway, allowing a reliable go-live with environments ready to scale as the operation grows.
